Kaaviyyan Movie Review:
A Chennai-based cop who is after a ruthless murderer in Las Vegas – this is supposed to be the one line of Kaaviyyan. An average screenplay with at least a couple of engaging sequences is the minimum one would least expect from a plot like this.
The film, however, is sure to disappoint those who even go without any expectation, thanks to the sloppy script staged in an artificial set up with hardly any character arc. The seriousness, logic and nail-biting scenes which are mandatory in such a premise is nowhere to be seen.
A pointless song and ineffective hero-heroine track test patience after a few minutes into the movie. The attempts to create funny one-liners and face-off between protagonist-antagonist, too, fail terribly. One wonders why the team chose the US to narrate a story like this.
